Other information collected from you during your visit to our websites
Whenever you browse the PWB Health websites, read pages, or download information, our computers automatically record certain information about your visit from the computer you use to access our site.

This information does not identify you personally. It just tells us how many visitors come to our site and the types of computers they use. With this information, we can improve our site for all our visitors and make it more useful to you.

About cookies

Data Security Policy
You can shop online at PWB Health as easily as you can in any shop. When you use your debit or credit cards at PWB Health websites, your personal details are as safe if you had used the phone to make a mail order purchase. However, we do take extra precautions when you shop online with us, using security technology that is specially designed for the internet.

There are two ways in which we protect your credit card details from theft or unauthorised use:
 

1. We use industry standard encryption known as SSL or Secure Sockets Layer on our site to provide a secure connection between your browser and the payment pages. You will recognise SSL by a padlock symbol located in the bottom corner of your browser. When the padlock is ‘locked’, this confirms you are on the secure page of the site. SSL is practically impossible to decode.
2. We process your credit card and address information responsibly and securely, via a trusted third party, Protx Ltd, and according to strict retailing best practice. When you check out from our store, you pass via the SSL to a secure area operated by Protx where your card details are checked. If your card issuer verifies your details, your purchase will be authorised and your card debited accordingly. Protx notifies us and we are then able to complete your transaction and arrange delivery. If your card issuer declines the payment request, we are unable to complete your transaction and you will be advised of this immediately.

Credit card fraud
If your card is used fraudulently, most card issuers either cover all of the charges, or may limit your liability to £50.

You must notify your credit or debit card issuer immediately, if your card is lost or stolen, or you are aware of unauthorised use, in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

NEVER give your credit card information or password to unauthorised persons contacting you via email or an instant message or chat service. These requests are ALWAYS fraudulent.
